Excalibur is about the Arthurian Legend in which the mythical dragon gives birth to a legend. "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" (Revelation 13:4) King Arthur is the fictional character brought to the movie screen that Revelation 13:4 reveals. Furthermore, Lancelot in this film rides the Pale Horse in one scene. The armour that the knights wore is silver and represents the Medo-Persian Empire on the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream. The Pale Horse that Lancelot rides on also looks grey, which signifies the clay on the statue.
