Under The Oak is the first in a series of fiction short stories. These stories are built around a fictional town called Whisper Hollow which is located somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains. It is an area that continues to live the simple life of the old ways, farming, mining, and small-town stores are its main source of employment. It is a town where most everyone knows each other.
