René Guénon (1886-1951) was a French metaphysician and a leading authority on esotericism, symbolism and the comparative study of religions. This book brings together a number of studies that René Guénon devoted to Sufism. He shows that Sufism is by no means a sect, but the heart and core of the Islamic tradition.
