An unlikely pair: a grumpy paraplegic and mohawk sporting, tattooed nurse... go back to college. Sam Sunday and his full-time nurse, Reggie Lowes travel to Colorado to stay in a college ADA dorm suite for the summer while visiting Sam's brother, Daniel, a professor at J. Chaffee College. The long trip left little time for physical therapy and Reggie finds a way for Sam to use the college's therapy facilities at the gym. On a visit to the gym whirlpool, they discover the body of the irate janitor who tried to have them kicked off campus. Sam looks forward to a new mystery to keep his mind of his deceased wife while Reggie worries, he will be blamed for this murder, too! Detective Jamison James decides it's a drug deal gone wrong. Daniel's wife, Nell urges Sam to take on the case to prove it isn't drug-related and figure out what secret Daniel's hiding.
