In this breakthrough book, Epstein examines the deeply ingrained stories, or myths, we commonly hold about how our bodies heal — myths that can actually inhibit healing. For example: “I must forgive in order to heal,” “A person may be too far gone to heal,” or “Healing is not always available.” Epstein exposes each myth individually, then he suggests an alternative statement, or “healing magic,” to help us reclaim our body’s natural ability to heal.
