Daryl felt sorry for herself when her father sent her to boarding school, and so severed her friendship with David. But Daryl had been warned that next time she was delinquent such would be her lot, and so it transpired. But perhaps Daryl was not so unfortunate as she thought at the time. She soon settled down to school routine and amongst her new companions, and then became involved in a really thrilling mystery, which, although getting her into hot water brought unimagined excitement into her life.
