I grew up in an era where plaid pants and bell bottoms, were popular during the seventies. As the years moved on, so did clothing styles and the high-end brands of clothing were all the rage. I soon realized if I was not wearing the popular designer label as my peers were, I would be the kid who was picked on. I had no idea, the teasing would continue into my junior year of high school. I loved school when I was younger, and that love of school changed to dread. The daily gossip of my clothing and shoes were the talk of the entire school, and I had it up to my eyeballs with it. I kept all my feelings and thoughts inside about what I was experiencing in school and never mentioned any of this to my parent's. My grades soon plummeted and I began to act out. What was to come next, I felt like I had no other choice.
