After Lee liberates porn-actress Carrie Downs from an escort service/prostitution ring in Beverly Hills, her father, Hollywood movie producer, Ryan Downs, hires Lee to provide story-boards, conceptual art and security for a film adaptation of Lee's favorite comic-book character--other than Superman--The Unknown Detective. Meanwhile, small-time gangster Lyle Capp helps Lee uncover the true identity of the mysterious crime-lord known as the Emporer.
